Way of the Hunter 2

Way of the Hunter 2 Heirloom Pack: Contents and Ownership

At a glance

Heirloom Pack is a separate DLC for the same-platform base game. Steam Early Access buyers received it at 1.0, and console preorder bonuses included it; check ownership before purchasing again.

What is in Heirloom Pack?

Item Identification
STRASSER RS14 WOTH Edition Engraved rifle in .243 Winchester
Primacy Vision Deluxe 4-16x50 WOTH Edition Scope styled to match the STRASSER rifle
Primacy Superior 7700 with MDT Oryx Chassis Rifle in .270 Winchester
Large bronze elk statue Outside the Headquarters lodge

The statue is a pack item, not a taxidermy trophy earned by harvesting an animal. Cosmetic descriptions do not establish extra damage, accuracy or herd-management advantages.

Who received it free?

Steam Early Access purchasers received the pack when 1.0 launched. PS5 and Xbox preorder bonuses also included it. Ownership belongs to the purchase platform; Steam eligibility does not automatically grant a console copy. Do not assume every post-launch Standard Edition includes it.

Check Steam ownership first

In Steam Library, right-click Way of the Hunter 2 → Properties → DLC. Look for Heirloom Pack and check its installation selection. If it is already listed, investigate ownership and installation rather than immediately repurchasing it.

Patch 1.2 fixes Get DLC remaining in the in-game Shop after purchase, so that label alone is not a reliable ownership test. If the DLC is absent from the list, compare the actual platform, purchase date and order contents with the eligibility rules.

Do not confuse it with other packs

Heirloom does not add a map. Night Hunting Pack is a different DLC, and the first game’s ownership bonus for Night Hunting does not establish Heirloom eligibility. Check the full DLC name and item list rather than treating a Season Pass or night-vision equipment as the same pack.
